Meramec Regional Planning Commission (MRPC)

We are a council of local governments, essentially a professional staff working for and on behalf of city and county governments in Crawford, Dent, Gasconade, Maries, Osage, Phelps and Washington counties. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for our residents. Our programs are tailored to meet the needs of local governments, and these needs are also the needs of business and industry.

Our planning and development department works with local governments to address infrastructure needs to accommodate new and expanding industry. If you need a road or a water line to make your project in our region a reality, we may be able to prepare a grant application on behalf of the host community to ensure your location here.

If you have financing needs, MRPC offers two loan programs than may help bring the package together. Our revolving loan fund provides gap financing while the Small Business Administration 504 program can address larger financing needs. Both programs work in cooperation with the bank of your choice and offer lucrative terms to help your business succeed.
